James Who?

I am one of three co-owners of HelloNorthGeorgia.com, a visual directory for businesses in North Georgia. My individual role and responsibilities have me dealing with all types of businesses and business owners each day. Among other things, I handle our own social media strategy and I act as community manager. Our Twitter feed is a good example of this. Truly, much of my social media experience and understanding comes from the trial by fire method of learning. I now consult with my partners, our clients, and others, who desire to know more about social media and how it might apply to their own individual needs. Blogging is simply another tool for me. With this, I hope to help those that fall outside the boundaries of my own local community.

This blog is a natural extension of what I do. I am not a social media guru, though social media in general, I call a friend. I was not involved when the Internet began, but I have been deeply involved since we first met. My only true expertise is that which is born from my own mistakes. This experience, these mistakes, and my own personal take on things,… I present to you here.
